Remarks
- This airport has been surveyed by the national geodetic survey.
- Runway 16L/34R closed & unlighted when tower closed.
- Extreme noise sensitive area.
- Noise ordinance curfew: no tkofs for aircraft exceeding 74 DBA (per AC36-3) between 2200-0700; Except military; Mercy flights & LAW enforcement aircraft.
- Airport closed to air carrier operations.
- Formation arrivals and departures prohibited except for emergency response aircraft.
- All jet aircraft must use full runway length for departure unless otherwise directed by ATCT.
- HEL contact ATCT for APCH-DEP routes;
- Bird abatement may occur between runways when ATCT is open.
- When the control tower is closed, aircraft must self announce on frequency 119.3 prior to landing or departing.
- Taxilane A3 westbound taxi only. Taxilane A2 eastbound taxi only. Taxilane A2/A3 have unidirectional centerline lights.
- Runways 16L and 16R: no turns before the flood basin, unless dctc by ATC.
- Runways 34L and 34R: no turns before rchg 1800 ft MSL, unless dctd by ATC.
- No aircraft may arrive or depart the airport whose AC36-3 takeoff noise level equals or exceeds 77 DBA.
- Taxilane A1 dcmsnd.

- Jets: avoid departure and arrival between 11 PM and 7 AM to RDC noise over community.
- Turbine/Jet aircraft operators are requested to use nbaa noise abatement program procedures or comparable procedures of aircraft manufacturer.
- Taxiway A south of taxiway P aircraft with wingspan over 100 ft encroach on runway 16R-34L RSA.
- Taxiway B south of taxiway Q aircraft with wingspan over 100 ft encroach on runway 16R-34L RSA.
- Due to aircraft on kbur runway 8 final rcvg tcas RA, PLS adhere strictly to traffic pattern altitude and climb gradients. Runway 16R/16L DO not climb above 1750 MSL until XNG 1.5 DME south of the VNY VOR/DME or south of the departure end of runway 16R.
- Noise ordinance rstrn: tbjt or FAN pwrd aircraft prohibited from repetitive operations at all times.
- Noise ordinance curfew: prop pwrd aircraft prohibited from repetitive operations (touch-and-go landings, stop and GO, or where aircraft takes OFF WI five minimum after landing) between 2200-0700 (JUN 21-SEP 15) and between 2100-0700 (SEP 16-JUN 20).
- Taxilane A2 and A3 are ATCT NON-VSB areas. All pilots are required to contact ATCT at checkpoint 1 on taxilane A2 when taxiing OUT from the northwest airfield.

- When the control tower is closed activate MALSR runway 16R; HIRL runway 16R/34L; Taxiway lights - CTAF.
